Jordan Elementary PTO 2025-2026
Our PTO is made up of hard-working parents & teachers who pool their talents to provide practical support for our school. Those listed below volunteered to provide leadership this year. Get to know their names and faces, and feel free to reach out to them if you have questions.
2025-2026 Officers Bios
President: Mary Birkhauser
Mary Birkhauser and her husband Ryan have four children Jack (4th grade), William
(1st grade), Eleanor (incoming kindergartener!) and Georgia (2 going on 12). They
moved to Brentwood three years ago and quickly found a home at Jordan
Elementary. Mary has served on and led parent boards since Jack’s first year in
preschool and has always enjoyed volunteering for our school communities with a
heart for supporting our administrators and teachers while building a community
for parents and families. After running events for the board this past year, Mary
is excited to move into the President role and help orchestrate the larger goals of the
PTO. With a professional and volunteer background in project management and communications, Mary looks forward to bringing those skills to the table while working with the entire board and engaging other volunteers to continue building the community of Jordan we’ve all come to love.
Secretary: Katie Little
I'm Katie Little, and I'm excited to step into the role of PTO Secretary! I am a mom of three, Carter (3rd Grade), Maggie (Kindergartner), and Charlie (7 months). Since moving to Brentwood in 2021, I've actively volunteered at school and in the community. I have served as Jordan’s Room Parent Coordinator for the last two years, helped organize events, lunches, assisted teachers and I'm also a familiar face in the cafeteria during lunch.
As the former Director of Playgroups for Las Madres in California, I honed my event planning and organizational skills. I'm adept at keeping records, managing agendas, and ensuring clear communication between parents and leadership. I understand the invaluable role teachers and staff play in our children's lives and I'll strive to support them through appreciation initiatives and communication of their needs. I'm passionate about making our school an even better place for our children, and I'm eager to work to achieve that goal.
Treasurer: Ana Durand Pratts
Hi there! Jose (my husband) and I are proud parents of three; Sara (SMS 7th grade), Ana Sofia (SMS 6th grade), and Javier (JES 4th grade). Since we started the 21-22 JES community, I have enjoyed being a Room Parent for 4 years in a row and Room Parent Lead in one of those years. I love to volunteer at JES, whether it is planning and/or decorating for classroom and school activities (book fairs, luncheons, fall/spring photo day, parent press), or simply helping out in the classroom and/or working with the students. We love everything that entails Jordan from the Staff and PTO to the Teachers to the Students and their parents. I’m originally from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico and I have a Master's in Business Administration and Human Resources. Prior to my kids beginning elementary school, I worked as an Office Administrator, where I took on all the responsibilities of the Office Manager. Then, I worked in the Human Resources department, where I was responsible for paying Unions from different states, afterwards in the same company I moved to the Accounting department, handling most of the Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable accounts.
Since we moved to Tennessee, I have dedicated my time to our family, the kids' schools and their extra curricular activities. I am looking forward to the possibility of bringing what I have learned so far as Assistant Treasurer and applying it to the Treasurer position, continuing getting to know all the JES families, and having the opportunity to work again with PTO to continue fulfilling all our goals.
Assistant Treasurer: Elizabeth Carder
Elizabeth Carder and her husband James are parents to three children: Jude (4th grade), Ezra (1st grade), and Isla (age 3). Their family relocated from Colorado and quickly found a sense of community at Jordan Elementary.
Elizabeth brings prior experience in a treasurer role from her children’s former school PTA, and is excited to support the Jordan PTO in a similar capacity. Professionally, she has a background in investigations and worked as a NICU nurse before transitioning to focus on her family and community involvement. She is detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about supporting the staff, students, and families who make Jordan such a special place.
She looks forward to contributing to the work of the PTO and helping ensure a great year for everyone at JES.
VP of Communications: Allison Halberstadt
Allison Halberstadt and her husband Eric are proud parents to four current/future Jordan Jets: Vera (5th), Faye (3rd), Maeve (K), and Jack (3). They consider themselves "frequent fliers" in the Jordan community :) . She has midwest roots, growing up in Minnesota, going to school in Wisconsin (go Badgers!) and chasing career aspirations in Ohio. She and her family relocated from Minnesota to Brentwood in 2020, and have never looked back. The community and schools are top notch and she can't wait to contribute to the continued success of Jordan Elementary through involvement in the PTO. Allison has worked 15+ years in CPG sales, and understands the value of strong communication in business and in the community. She looks forward to ensuring the Jordan community stays informed, engaged and excited about all that is happening in our wonderful school.
VP of Fundraising: Natalie Creamer
Natalie Creamer is married to her high school sweetheart, John, and mom to Alice and Jack. Natalie has dedicated herself to volunteering for non-profit organizations in Nashville since relocating here in 2018. Over the last twenty years, Natalie has used her background in management, event planning and fundraising for her PTO President role at Judson Weekday preschool, Social Committee Leader for her HOA, Jordan PTO secretary last year and now as the VP of Fundraising. She is happy to be a part of the Jordan family and looks forward to continuing being of service to the school community in order to enhance student achievement and engagement.
VP of Special Events: Haley Delvizis
My name is Haley Delvizis - “Reese’s Pieces Del-V-Zis”. I was born and raised in Alabama and graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Human Development & Family Studies. My husband, Chris, and I lived in Austin, Texas from 2008-2021 where I was a high school Family & Consumer Science teacher, cheer coach, and FCCLA advisor. Chris is originally from Franklin and also graduated from Auburn University. His current role with Amazon brought us “back” to Tennessee in 2023. We are thrilled to be closer to family & old friends. We have 3 kids - Ella 5th grade, Ava 2nd grade, & Everett who will be in kindergarten this year. I am looking forward to having all 3 kiddos at Jordan next year!
I have enjoyed volunteering at Jordan over the last 2.5 years serving as a room parent, field trip chaperone, hospitality committee member, and holiday cookie exchange coordinator. I am looking forward to being a part of the PTO and all of the excitement that next year has to offer!
VP of Membership: Courtney Fern
Courtney has been a Jordan parent since the opening of the school, and currently has two daughters still attending JES. She has consistently volunteered with the PTO throughout the years, including taking roles like Room Parent Coordinator, Grade Level Coordinator, and chair of Movie Night. Courtney is a former high school English teacher and can now be found teaching barre classes at NoloSol in Nolensville. Her three daughters are in first (Nora), fifth grade (Elise), and seventh grade (Lila).
VP of Hospitality: Jessica Smith
Hi Jordan families! My name is Jess Smith, and I’m hoping to serve as Jordan’s first ever VP of Hospitality. I have two boys at Jordan (Lewis in 4th Grade, and Theo in 2nd Grade) as well as a two year old daughter at home. I’m originally from south Mississippi, and am grateful to have called Williamson County home for the past six years. I’m currently serving on the PTO Board as the Member at Large, and have greatly enjoyed my time doing so. You can find me doing various odd jobs around the school and helping out when and where I’m needed! I’ve served as the co-chair of the Hospitality Committee for the past two years, and am also currently the co-chair of the Teacher Appreciation Week Committee. I absolutely love working with our parent community to help put together fun events and surprises to treat our wonderful teachers and staff. In addition to working on hospitality events, I’ve enjoyed being a room parent for one or both of my boys’ classes every year, including one year as a grade level lead. I would truly love the opportunity to serve as your new VP of Hospitality, and look forward to working with our fantastic community of volunteers to support and encourage our teachers and staff!
VP of Marketing: Athenee Willis
(Pronounced: Ah-Ten-knee) Mom of four boys, with our youngest one currently in 4th grade at Jordan Elementary School. I have a background in marketing and operations in professional sports and corporate events. In addition to my corporate career, I’ve run my own wedding planning business for the better part of 10 years, combining my passion for people, creativity and organization. Over the last 21+ years as a mom, I’ve dedicated myself to volunteering for my kids' schools, sports organizations and activities in a number of chair and board positions, always eager to lend a hand when needed. Originally from San Diego, CA., we’ve embraced all that the Tennessee community has to offer since making it our home. My husband of almost 23 years, Jesse and I enjoy cooking, DIY-ing, exploring outdoors, spending time with our kids (ie: driving them to and from everywhere they need to be) and if we’re not knee deep in “life”, we love a good ‘ol lazy Sunday on the couch binging our favorite shows with our 2 dogs.
You can say, I've hit the ground running by volunteering where I can at JES and I enjoy every minute. The times I have been able to help out and the few interactions with the current board and volunteers at the school, it’s refreshing to see how kind, helpful and talented all the parents are. It takes a village and when the whole village is willing to roll up their sleeves for not only their own kids, but an entire school- it was a no-brainer for me to step up where help is needed and run for VP of Marketing in the upcoming school year. I sincerely appreciate the Jordan E.S. staff and faculty for all they do in the success of our school and students. In this role, I look forward to carrying on the great work my predecessors have paved for us other parents. I know I'll have fun, be amongst other parents who enjoy being a part of their kids’ lives and who knows, maybe I’ll learn a few new life skills while I'm at it!
